Produced at our Kinleith Mill, HI WHITE® has a strong reputation with Asia Pacific papermakers.
HI WHITE® kraft pulp is suitable for applications such as coated and uncoated printing and writing papers, bleached paperboard (including ivory board and liquid packaging), filter papers, tissue and hygiene products.

UNBLEACHED KRAFT PULP (UKP)
UKP is a premium natural kraft pulp made from 100% radiata pine, delivering high strength and medium fibre coarseness.
Our range of UKP grades are manufactured at our Tasman and Kinleith Mills. UKP provides a good balance of strength properties, cleanliness and shade. This is ideal for unbleached kraft papers and packaging grades including paperboard, kraft linerboard, corrugated medium, carton board and sack kraft.
UNBLEACHED KRAFT PULP (UKP)

K25® is a cellulose pulp engineered and designed for use in the production of high quality cement based building products.
Developed over many years, K25™ is produced at our Tasman Mill from specially selected radiata fibre and manufactured to tightly controlled quality targets. The fibre properties and consistent quality of this pulp enable it to meet the demands of high quality autoclaved fibre cement board.

- Fewer vehicle movements throughout supply chain logistics
- Cost savings arising from fewer container engagements
- Less container storage on site
- Fewer fork or clamp movements
- Lower costs when returning empty containers
- Lower clearance fees per order

Working with our industry partners, we harness the full potential of sustainably grown pine forests.
Tall oil and turpentine, are useful raw materials, processed into many household and industrial products. Applications include pine perfume bases for disinfectants and rosin used in glues, papermaking, cosmetics, food packaging and adhesive tape.
The production of bleaching chemicals produces sanitising agents for municipal water treatment and swimming pools.

Oji Fibre Solutions is committed to ensuring its supply chain is free of inputs containing deforestation and illegally logged material.
Our virgin wood is sourced from sustainable exotic plantations grown in the North Island of New Zealand, an area widely considered low risk for deforestation and illegal logging. We operate a wood traceability system and apply risk assessment procedures to all wood inputs to avoid purchasing unacceptable material.
Oji Fibre Solutions’ pulp traceability system tracks products to source and allows pulp customers to receive tagged information on wood species, geolocation data for each supplier1 and date of harvest with each shipment, via a link on our shipping documents.
Our pulp risk assessment system provides comprehensive information to support our pulp customer’s due diligence systems, enabling them to verify negligible risk in the commodities we sell, and comply with the European Union’s Regulation on Deforestation free products (EUDR), the Australian Illegal Logging Prohibition Act and other related international legislation.
This information includes our risk and procurement procedures, wood supplier declarations, legal documents, traceability evidence and other information.
