We operate five manufacturing sites; three corrugated cardboard packaging facilities, a paper bags facility, and a specialty board facility. We also have nine stand-alone distribution centres.
This makes us one of New Zealand's largest fibre-based packaging manufacturers and the only one with a true New Zealand-based circular bioeconomy. We are proud to support primary industries such as dairy, food and beverage, meat and poultry, horticulture, fishing and FMCG.
All OjiFS facilities hold Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) chain of custody certification, as well as other relevant certifications.

CARDBOARD PACKAGING FACILITIES
Our three corrugated packaging facilities, Packaging Northern in Auckland, Packaging Central in Levin and Packaging Southern in Christchurch, collectively manufacture a third of New Zealand's cardboard boxes.
Our box making facilities convert sustainably-sourced containerboard (OjiFS paper) into quality packaging products, predominently for primary industries. We also have nine stand-alone distribution centres across the country, allowing for efficient local delivery.
We manage design and production end-to-end. Our award-winning in-house designers are the best-of-the-best, combining creativity with brand consistency and product protection.
We offer on-site box-erecting machine systems for our customers, where our engineers work with proven local and international manufacturers to supply and support the most appropriate equipment.
In 2022 we invested over $105 million in a new state-of-the-art packaging facility in Christchurch to better support the growing demand in the South Island region.
PAPER BAG FACILITY
Our Paper Bag facility in Auckland specialises in multi-ply bags where product integrity and efficient distriburtion are critical, supported by high-quality graphics and options of traceability through QR coding.
Our product range includes bags for the dairy, horticulture, cement, flour and sugar industries, from 5kg sizes through to 50kg industrial bags.
In 2016 $30 million was invested into the Paper Bag facility, specifically upgrading the hygiene hall to global standards.
SPECIALTY BOARDS FACILITY
Our Specialty Boards facility in Hamilton has been supporting New Zealand businesses with pasted board products for more than 50 years.
Specialty Boards manufactures custom-made corrugated and solid fibre packaging, including heavy-duty packaging, frozen and chilled products packaging, point-of-sale displays, solid fibre slip-sheets and bulk bins.
